2025 UPDATE LETTER
WHY?
In 2022, it was obvious that we had "ROOM TO GROW." So together as a church body, we sought after God’s own heart, a new vision to give shape to our next season of ministry. God answered our prayers and gave us a vision to be “A church striving to embody grace and truth, as we grow followers of Jesus Christ.” With new vision in hand, we worked backwards, asking the strategic question, what would be needed for this vision, God's vision for our future, to be realized. Four mission critical goals were identified to fuel both the vision and our future.
Room To Grow GOALS (4)
1. Prepare our Facility for Missional Outreach:
- Increase the use of our amazing facility by the community through the addition of a sprinkler system, improved security, and maintenance.
2. Fuel the Ministry:
- Increase our already amazing ministry team to better meet the needs of our growing church & community.
3. Increase support for mission-critical ministries like global missions and foster care.
4. Establish a firm foundation to increase effectiveness and amplify our impact.
WHAT?
Faced with this new vision and critical goals, AGCC did something it has never done in it's history. We spent 40 days in a vision/stewardship campaign called "ROOM TO GROW." Together we prayed, sought God's heart & asked everyone to pray about contributing towards this new thing God was doing in our church. What happened next was one of the most unifying, God honoring, powerful moments in our churches history. Not only was there a massive rally around this God given vision, not only was there an increased spirit of unity & joy, more than $400,000 was pledged to help us together as a church family lean into this new season. Everyone apart of that initial Novemember shared the exact same response, the response David gives when asked how he won the battle, "God did it!"
WHAT NOW?
This November (2025) we will be entering the third and final year of our "ROOM TO GROW" campaign, and we aren't done. There are greater things "STILL TO BE DONE" in this city and in our church. This November will be a time to revisit the vision, prayerfully seek God's heart anew & together in unified spirit lean into the future He is creating.
Like before, whether you're new to RTG or you've been here from the beginning, the leadership of Aspen Grove Christian Church is inviting you to join us on this spiritual journey. With this vision campaign we are inviting everyone to consider God’s place in their lives. What might He do with a sacrificing church to see His will be done? Will you pray about joining us, and pray about what a commitment from you might look like? Our future represents a bigger, bolder, more audacious, and impactful vision than has been previously imagined. It is distinctly new and good...it's "STILL TO BE DONE."
