NURSING HOME MINISTRY
Pat Moneypenny, Donna Cummings and Peggy Myers, along with J.D. Mosely minister to Waterford Home residents with church services every Wed. night and special occasion celebrations. This one is a St. Patrick's Day Celebration. Members of the Wish Group often provide gifts and favors for the celebrations. Other members of Aspen Grove Christian Church, Fran Gaydou and Rick Hammond, provide entertainment for the group periodically.
Peggy Myers shared the following about this ministry:
"The residents have our cell numbers and call us when they want someone to talk to or have a problem they want us to help them work through. We have been going strong for 18 months and did not know what to expect when we first went......but the JOY IS OURS!”
